Lafayette Instrument Company (Lafayette, Indiana, USA) is a global leader in life science research instrumentation. Its Life Science division encompasses seven specialized brands that deliver innovative research and measurement technologies worldwide. The portfolio includes Avisoft Bioacoustics, a newly acquired market leader in bioacoustics instrumentation and software designed for recording and analyzing animal vocalizations, including ultrasonic sounds, across diverse species.
To support the integration and growth of Avisoft Bioacoustics, we are hiring a commercially driven Product Consultant. The successful candidate will work closely with researchers, principal investigators, laboratory managers, distributors, and commercial partners to identify opportunities, manage sales pipelines, conduct product demonstrations, and support customers throughout the sales process. Moreover, the successful candidate will provide technical and application support, attend tradeshows, and conduct both virtual and in-person training sessions for the relevant product line. Travel is an important aspect of this role, and the successful candidate should be able to travel around 30% of the time across Europe.
